Social Initiatives

Beyond our commercial services, BHTC is committed to building the next generation of professionals through government-partnered and internationally sponsored social initiatives that create real, lasting impact on communities and careers.

The ‘Turning Point’ initiative is sponsored by a number of local and international organizations. Its aim is to provide vocational training for graduates and jobseekers through a rigorous, scientific and practical approach designed to bridge the gap between theoretical academic study and the practical, real-world needs of the labor market.

Bridging the Gap Between Academia and the Labor Market in Iraq

The Turning Point Initiative was established to address one of the most pressing challenges facing graduates and jobseekers today: the disconnect between theoretical academic education and the practical, real-world competencies demanded by employers.Through a rigorous, scientific, and practical approach, the initiative delivers structured vocational training programmes that equip participants with the hands-on skills, professional behaviours, and industry-specific knowledge required to enter and succeed in the labour market. Training is delivered by certified practitioners and industry experts, ensuring every session reflects current workplace realities.
